Travis received his Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from the University of the Fraser Valley prior to extending his education to massage therapy. He graduated from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy and has been an RMT since 2017.

Travis enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions and injuries. His treatment will vary from person to person, depending on the injury and on the person. Each person is very different from the next and Travis believes strongly in an individualized treatment plan to optimize recovery and wellness goals. Generally, Travis includes relaxation elements (Swedish techniques) into the treatment along with stretching, fascial techniques, dynamic release, neuromuscular techniques, hot stone massage and joint mobilizations depending on the need.

Over his years of practice, Travis has focused his continuing education towards developing a better understanding of persistent pain and how to help manage it. He believes it is very important for each person to be able to manage their function and pain on their own outside of the treatment room. He will provide each client with pain management strategies and exercises to help with this to ensure more effective treatments and more sustainable outcomes.

Outside of work, you are likely to find Travis on the local mountain bike trails. He also takes advantage of the amazing BC outdoors, spending time hiking, backpacking, paddle boarding, or snowboarding in the winter.
